Comuni di Pioltello, Rescaldina e Cerro Maggiore dichiarati eleggibili per bando Urban Innovative Actions (FESR)

L’aggregazione dei Comuni di Pioltello, Rescaldina e Cerro Maggiore è stata dichiarata eleggibile per il terzo bando “Azioni Urbane Innovative” (Urban Innovative Actions – UIA) della Commissione Europea, sostenuto dal Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale (FESR). Scopo del bando è quello di aiutare le città e i comuni a identificare e testare soluzioni innovative per rispondere alle crescenti sfide che interessano le aree urbane.
La notizia dell’eleggibilità dei tre comuni metropolitani è particolarmente significativa poiché è la prima volta che una rete di comuni, su proposta di Città metropolitana di Milano, partecipa a un bando aggregandosi non sulla base di una contiguità territoriale ma sulla base di un progetto condiviso. I progetti approvati verranno notificati a ottobre 2018.

The network of the Municipalities of Pioltello, Rescaldina and Cerro Maggiore (Lombardy, Italy) was declared eligible for the third call for proposals "Urban Innovative Actions" (UIA) of the European Commission, which is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The aim of the call is to help cities and municipalities to identify and test innovative solutions to respond to the growing challenges affecting urban areas.
The news of the eligibility of the three metropolitan municipalities is particularly significant because it is the first time that a network of municipalities, on the proposal of the Metropolitan City of Milan, participates in a call for aggregation not on the basis of territorial contiguity but on the basis of a shared project. The approved projects will be notified in October 2018.
