Start of work in 2023
With about € 50,000,000 of PNRR funding, through the Integrated Urban Plans, 5 Exchange lines will be built, the Biciplan of the Metropolitan City, identified through a participatory process together with the territories involved:
- Line 2 passing through Bresso, Cinisello Balsamo, Sesto San Giovanni
- Line 5 passing through Segrate, Pioltello, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Vignate, Melzo, Pozzulo Martesana, Cassano d'Adda
- Line 7 passing through Peschiera Borromeo, Pantigliate, Mediglia, Paullo, Colturano
- Line 12 passing through Cesano Boscone [phase 2], Cusago, Cisliano, Albairate, Abbiategrasso
- Line 15 passing through Pero, Rho, Pogliano Milanese, Lainate, Nerviano, Parabiago, Canegrate, San Vittore Olona, Legnano
The works for the construction of the super cycle paths will start in 2023.
Lines 2, 5, 7, 12 and 15 are funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU within the Integrated Urban Plans M5C2I2.2
