Analysis of cycle and pedestrian traffic on Line 6

Between July and September 2022, an analysis of the cycle/pedestrian traffic along the first section of Line 6 between via Corelli and Idroscalo Park was carried out.

The surveys were carried out after the opening of the first part of the line between the boundary of the municipality of Milan (precisely via Corelli) and the tribune entrance of Idroscalo Park. Three sensor positioning points were identified in strategic areas for the duration of five consecutive days at different times of the year in order to evaluate how the alleged demand had responded to the creation of the new cycling infrastructure.
